Groups Factions And Organisations

There are many organisations in the world of IO. Groups who are stricken through don't exists anymore, or are reduced to very few individuals.
The list is constructed in way that roughly shows which organizations are offshoots of others.
- The Five: Amadeus Jedermann and his four closest friends, before they split apart.
- House of Act: Political faction, created by Amadeus Jedermann.
- Dragonslayer: Precursor of the Army of Purpose.
- Army of Purpose: Army of Amadeus Jedermann, leader of the House of Act.
- Golden Bloom: Legal magic institution under the House of Act.
- The Web: Mecha-spider riders used for infiltration missions. Consists of Hob-Goblins.
- Infiltration Units 31: Spider riders, turned rogue after witnessing Grey Boy.
- Witchhunter: Anti-magic elite warriors. Lead by Mel Sunwalker.
- List of 13: Assassins lead by the mysterious Nameless Man.
- Lost Legion: Legion of the Army of Purpose. Disappeared in Amaru Kullu.
- Halo Mercenaries: Sellswords that split of the Army of Purpose after the creation of the House of Act.
- Black Knights: Ex-Dragon Knights. Were talked into betraying the Dragon Ministers by Amadeus Jedermann. Only one is left.
- Army of Purpose: Army of Amadeus Jedermann, leader of the House of Act.
- Bloodfactories: Mysterious factories. Use blood to create Sludge, which powers all Jed-Techs.
- Civil-Lords: Semi-democratically elected rulers of Underside, the commoner district of Halora.
- Piper Tribe: Tribe of Hob-Goblins that agreed to maintain the sludge-pipes beneath Halora in exchange for citizenship.
- Halonauts: Explores of the ruins of Halo beneath Halora. Formed by the House of Act in an attempt to find dangerous relics.
- Raven Guild: Thieves that are known for their connections to the Witchhunter.
- Dragonslayer: Precursor of the Army of Purpose.
- Desert West: Gunsmiths of Samt Ar'ra. Also handle broader political matters of the desert country.
- Backwater Chiefs: Lawmen of Samt Ar'ra, known for their mecha-horses and quick trigger fingers.
- House of Act: Political faction, created by Amadeus Jedermann.
- Sang Tower Church: Elven religion, worshiping Saint-Mortis Prophet Sang.
- Degeneration: Name for ghouls before the fall of the Sang Tower Church. Were hunted down and burned at the stake.
- Ghoul Field: Nomadic merchants led by Ghoul Johnsons. Infamous for their cutthroat attitude and loose attitude towards the law.
- Dragon Minister: Dragons following the teachings of Saint-Mortis Sang. Briefly ruled over Kooranno.
- Dragon Knights: Followers of the Dragon Ministers. Dealt with day-to-day political problems for their masters.
- Holy 10.958: Shadow Sorcerers, working under Tezka Moran in exchange for his secrets.
- Pilgrim Guard: Guardians of the Pilgrim Wall, sworn to fight the Red Horror.
- Degeneration: Name for ghouls before the fall of the Sang Tower Church. Were hunted down and burned at the stake.
- Noble Houses: Bloodlines dating back to the Misery Wars.
- Magical Rebellion: Coalition of magical Noble Houses that oppose the House of Act.
- Magistrate: Leaders of the Magical Rebellion. Consists of the heads of Magical Houses and important mages.
- House Alkay: Magical Noble House. Specializes in alchemy and Mundane transformation. Part of the Magical Rebellion.
- Glasshouse: Main producer of glass wares for magical purpose. Sealed.
- House Arcana: Magical Noble House. Specializes in rituals of higher arcana. Part of the Magical Rebellion.
- Loopers: Time-mage mercenaries, often used as support troops by the Magical Rebellion.
- House Sang: Last Noble House of the Star Elfs. Specializes in prophecy and religion. Part of the Magical Rebellion, still worships Sang.
- House Alkay: Magical Noble House. Specializes in alchemy and Mundane transformation. Part of the Magical Rebellion.
- Magistrate: Leaders of the Magical Rebellion. Consists of the heads of Magical Houses and important mages.
- Bandit House: Bandit clan in the north of Asmyth, jokingly called the Bandit Noble House.
- Black Ears: Bandit group working for the Bandit House, known for their information dealing.
- Magical Rebellion: Coalition of magical Noble Houses that oppose the House of Act.
- Council of Aspirants: Sons and daughters of Ever-King Halo. Ruled over Kooranno for a long time, often called a golden era.
- Sleeper Priests: Worshipers of the Burning Man. Outlawed and declared cultists.
- Legless: Mutated men that spread the words of the Beggar Prince.
